Car and Van Insurance with an MS60
What’s an MS60 motor endorsement?
An MS60 means ‘offences not covered by other codes (including offences relating to breach of requirements as to control of vehicle)’. It carries 3 penalty points and stays on the licence for 4 years following the date of the incident. An MS60 is part of the Miscellaneous category of motor offences and also includes MS10, MS20, MS30, MS50, MS70, MS80 and MS90.
Drivers with existing penalty points need to be aware that if 12 points are exceeded this can lead to a totting up offence, known as a TT99, which is a ban from driving for a specified period of time. Until the MS60 conviction is spent it will need to be disclosed to the insurer. It’s not worth the risk of not disclosing it to your insurer since they always find this out these days and can take drastic action such as cancelling the policy or charging an extortionate fee to keep it running.
Finding cheap MS60 car and van insurance
Cheap conviction driver car, van and motorbike insurance can be very difficult to get hold of. Most insurers view MS60’s cynically and expect the driver to present a higher risk of having a claim. This means they either don’t offer a quote for MS60 insurance or will charge an amount multiple times the cost without the MS60.
Here at Convicted we believe drivers can learn from their mistakes and become reformed. Everyone’s different and we feel your unique circumstances should be considered when finding insurance, not just the fact you have an MS60 motor conviction.
Contact us today and we’ll contact expert insurers to find you the best price out there. Our prices are not available anywhere else, so rest assured you’re gaining access to exclusive rates. Being an FCA regulated company you can have confidence you’re dealing with a firm that puts its customers first and offers a first class service.
